Hi, I’m Joanna, and this blog chronicles my random wanderings.

I am a Christian–I believe that Jesus died for my sins and was resurrected on the third day.

I`m home-schooled, and I like math and science. I am also fond on writing, especially children’s stories. Reading is also a favorite activity. Recently, I had a lot of fun on FTC team 420, as team (skeptic) arm driver. I hope to become a medical researcher.

I am in Venturing , an older co-ed program in Boy Scouts, and love camping. Additionally, I am allergic to gluten, which is in most breads.

The name of the blog springs from an under-used role-playing character called Emerald and originated when I was pestering my sister for a title for this blog.
